Most people use their regular phones for Instagram, but some use the desktop version especially if your a marketer or have a business or a brand.

If you are the type of person who uses Instagram just for fun your regular phone is completely enough but if you someone who cares about the quality, content, and traffic using a desktop is not an option is a must. There are lots of mobile applications and media tools to help you manage your Instagram page and most of them are completely free.
